mpfi question
You can install that motor with no issues....but trying to make that engine harness work with your ED/EF chassis is a million times harder than doing the standard DPFI to MPFI conversion.
If you want to run the OBD2 ecu, you will need a conversion harness to go from OBD0-OBD2a. If you plan on running the OBD2 distributor, then you have to at least convert to OBD1.

say i took the intake manifold of the 98 motor would i beable to use that for hte swap ? just not the injectors? and how about the dizzy on my d15 what ccan i use and what cant i use?
You can use the OBD2 injectors with no issues. You will still need to do the MPFI conversion and take all the wires that would normally go to a resistor box and solder then together.
If you want to run an OBD1 or OBD2 distributor, then you must run an OBD1 or OBD2 ecu.
If you want to run a pre-obd (OBD0) distributor, then you must run the pre-obd (OBD0) ecu.

can i use the intake manifold and throttle body and cable sttill without any problems would the older injectors work with this intake

I friend of mine just used a obd2 d-series manifold on his d15b1. The problem he encountered is you have to shave a lot off the top side of the intake manifold, I think about .25-.5 inch. The head is not flat and curves towards the top, thus making it not fit. If you have any metal cutting tools you can make it fit. For TB he used an integra one with stock d15 tb cable. Hope this helps.
