I just got thru finishing a swap in my car. When i was first doing the swap i was at a toss up on what mounts i wanted to use. I have had several swapped cars in the past and have probly used any kind of mount option you can think of.

I have used OEM mounts, Hasport mounts ( old and new ) And cheap ebay knock offs.

Everyone was telling me to run The cheap EBAY mounts and yes i have used them before and i wasnt impressed with them at all, the urethane rips, the welds crack etc: ( even though many people on here swear by them, in the long run they SUCK )

WIth my current build i have chose to go with AVID billet mounts, at first i was kinda sceptical because they look just like hasports and i was thinking they were juist going to be some sort of knock off ....Well, i went ahead and ordered them ( 250 shipped ). I get the mounts and the QUALITY is great, they bling, the urethane looks good and they come with all the bolts needed.

Well i start putting the mounts in (My car is a EF btw), i bolt the tranny mount to the trans, and i get to looking at it and its a 2 peice mount =0, it made it alot easier to bolt in/out cause how it was postioned ( unlike the hasport) so i thought it was great, the rear mount is just like the hasport, driver side mount was nice. Then i got to looking, these mounts sits alot lower then the Hasports yet still get good ground clearance ( you also have to bang the lip down on the rear X member to clear the tranny bracket ).

Now with all that aside, hasport DOES make good mounts ( duh ) but for the price , the avids are GREAT and the urethane is great. Hasport also has a life time warrenty and their mounts ( im not sure if avid does )

But yeah the moral of this story. EBAY cheap mounts suck. I hope this helps people out when looking for mounts for their car.

Also AVID came out with a K swap mount set also for EG's.......lets just say its alot cheaper too

like u said, the MSRP isnt that much better than HAsport, but $250 shipped isnt too bad, so im wondering where you got the better price...

I got them thru Ebay.....but the thing is even the GOOD price from hasport is like 350 or some shit. Even the price, if i couldnt get the avids for the good price, i would still get them over hasport.

 

Avids get my vote, hasports are pretty but avids hold up well in the long run and are cheaper. Ebay mounts ive only purchased once and the welds to start to get stress cracks and the urathane seems cheaper. Ive never heard anyone sending their mounts back to hasports with a problem and there no welds look nice but the price your paying is for looks. The function and fit are the same and install in easy also.
