Default Honda Help

Hey we just got a 93 del sol, and are looking to build it up. Here is the problem; I know nothing when it comes to Hondas so I have know idea what motor is in this thing. the car has no badging what so ever. No manual no nothing. The only clue is that on our insurance cards it says
"Del Sol S" Can somebody shed some light on this. Thanks

some hope, but not much.

depending on your performance goals, and considering how light that chassis is, i would go with a B16A swap. gives you lots of room for upgrades (block swaps, cams, bolt ons, etc) that will make decent gains.

id go b18 swap or like he said if you got lots of money go k series but you will b 1 of the 1st ppl with it if not the 1st so if you plan on doing it yourself and dont have much honda experience then go b18 but if your gunna have it done then go k series and you'll blow away just about anything on the road.....my personal advice is take it to lht have them swap in a stock k series then u do all the building on the motor because 1nce its swapped its easy to build it your self....

dont look into that look into your wallet..lol...but call lht performance and explain that you want to do a k swap and he'll be verry helpfull and give you a great price...and he can get the motor cheaper than you can

just to clear up something..the del sol is NOT that light(2300lbs)..id go with a k if possible if not..ls turbo or gsr turbo dependin on budget..b series would be easiest though...ditch the sohc..

I thought 2300 was light! I guess for a Honda it isn't. I tried taking some weight off but could not find anything to remove there's not much there to begin with. My 07' Eclipse GS is like 3200 what a pig oh well
