OBD1 EVAP System...
im running a B18B (OBD1 P75 ECU) in a '97 civic hatch, and i had been using the D16Y7 purge valve and EVAP canister...
but my car has been running like shit, and so i thought getting the OBD1 EVAP canister and purge valve (for free) might help. so i switched em out, but because the purge valves have different plugs, and i dont have any of the spare round plugs, so i just left it unplugged. but i dont have any CELs for it. did OBD1 ECUs not care about the EVAP system?
its not a big deal, and i dont really care, more curious than anything. ive always been under the impression that there were emissions codes for OBD1 cars.
any thoughts?
