Clutch problems

check the master cylinder reservoir if the fluid is a brownish dirty looking color that is usually a sign of the slave cylinder going bad and this makes the fluid bad too. try just flushing the entire system and putting new fluid in it.

while a flush and new fluid isnt a bad idea, the problem is that if there is fluid OUTSIDE the system (i.e. on the slave cylinder, trans case, firewall, etc) then that issue MUST be addressed before flushing/refilling, cuz u will start leaking fresh fluid, and thats just a waste of time AND money.

Thanks for all the advice guys! I went to the parts store and the slave cylinder and master clutch cylinder aren't very expensive and I will most likely end up replacing both. Thank you again and rep given.
