sounds like timeing then if all esle is working..is it popping when your turn it over like it trys to start

Try checking the harness ground also, should be attached where the water thermostat is...also what rangcrx said, timing..post back when you check everything and give us more detail

ok its turning over and it sound like it want to start its got a popping to it. and i have like fire coming out of the intake my timing is off but want mark do i use on the crank shaft pully the 1 mark by it self or the 3 marks on the pully and what mark do i use on the cam the front or back mark on the head well let me know but thanks for all the help if there any thing eles to try let me know please thanks alot guys its getting there

Well Id check to see if the plug wires are wronge before I looked to see if the plugs were on wrong lol make sure the end with the threads on it the plugs are towards the bottom when u install them.........
See if dizzy is out 180.
What have you done to the car before it started doing this?

Yeah, make sure you got the firing order correct before you go changing your timing...but also make sure your timing is correct!

ok i have good new it started but something is banging really hard in my bottom end i think the motor has a spun rod bairring let me kno that u guys think thanks for all the help i'm really greatful thanks again but let me kno about that banging thanks

No I Did My Timing On It And Then Its Started Up, But There Is A Hard Banging In The Bottom End... spun Rod Berring????

Looks like the timing is now taken care of........

So with all the spun bearing questions, what recently happened that would make a person think a spun bearing had happened to them?

That question came up even before the timing was fixed.

Have you checked oil pressure yet?-Bob
