problems installing oil line kit...

Default problems installing oil line kit...

im installing a turbo kit on my 00 si using a fast turbo oil line kit and when i tried to install the feed line fitting that goes into the motor where the stock oil sensor goes it wont thread in......it sorta tries to grip but it doesnt...i spent like 45 minutes on this and nothing...i ended up putting the oil sensor back in place until i can figure this out...i have never seen anyone have problems with these kits before....is my shit retarded or something?.....are fiitings like these attainable from a hardware store if i show them the stock sensor threads and show them what i need?......damn it i need to get on with this.....thx...if anyone has this fitting that i need that goes into the stock oil sensor location for the feed line let me know..i will buy...

Sounds like you may have the incorect fitting or your just having a bad day.

I personally do not like to mount any hardware directly to the block as I have seen issues in the past with fittings cracking.

What I have done is used a 6-8 inch 3 an line from the block and mounted a T on the firewall instead of directly on the motor.

My personal preference is to use a sandwitch plate for oil supply.

gotcha....well, i have to get this done before monday so i have nowhere to get a sandwhich adapter or anything of that matter tomorrow....i think all those have to be ordered not available locally....im new at hondas as you can probably already tell.....i just dont see how the fast turbo kit would do this...maybe i damaged the part somehow? hmm...damn... gotta figure something out...would a fitting like the one supplied in the kit be available at a hardware store or something like that?

the threads are a metric thread, you can get the proper fitting at amazon hose,
i also would mount a tee on fire wall and go from there, the vibration and movement of the engine - i have seen many of these fittings crack and leak

I believe they have the sandwhich plates in stock at Gearhead... But come on Norlandt, you know all of us Honda guys that you hang with all the time, you could ask for help instead of fuckin some shit up...

i tried asking for help......the best i can get is advice so i gotta take what i can get.....gearhead is closed today x said....so damn lol...imma try amazon hose if ace hardware doesnt have it..

thanx bro....i gotta pull off the pan and tap it, do the return line, and install downpipe/dumptube/wastegate.....then i gotta do some shit to the stock injector clips to fit the rc engineering 720cc injectors.....that should pretty much be it....

You are very close...

If your injector clips are obd1, you simply snip the center tab inside of the rc injectors to use with the factory obd1 clips. (Usually rc injectors do not even have this tab, but if they do you can simply snip them.)

720cc injectors.. low impedance I am guessing.
You did wire in a resistor box correct
