Default need help with LS rods

I just got some LS rods. some say

PR4 16

and some say

PR4 4.

does anyone know if there is a difference between them?
what does the code mean? does it mean a diferent year?

Also...

Are rod caps interchangeable between rods??

how about from a diffrent motor but with a matching number??
(the numbers are written half on the rod and half on the cap)

thanks for you help!!

PR4 is LS
the numbers after them, I dont know. I think maybe weight groups or something related to manufacturing sequence.
I DO KNOW that the same engine can have very different numbers in them. Every stock LS Ive seen all have different #'s.

Rod caps SHOULD NOT be interchanged. If you absolutely must mismatch caps, you should get them resized at the machine shop to make sure the large end is perfectly round...(Keep the caps with their rods)

With the spun bearing, does the crank itself have to be machined?

yes, but honda cranks are garbage after they are machined, no one recomends using them after the spin a bearing, not even if only 10,000 of an inch in machined off.
