Default Damn Diz Sux

i called lht and they were to busy to answer and my other shop was to busy also so i brought my car to another shop to get the intake manifold replaced and every estimate i got was 300 for just the labor because i had all the parts but i got it to the shop and the guy who gave me the estimate had just left for vacation so now the car is going to cost 500 buks for the damn intake manifold and the old 1 was already pulled all parts are there and all replacement parts are there i would take it to another shop but i dont have the money to pay for a tow truck

do it yourself its not hard at all look on honda-tech.com and search for a write up

It'll be cheaper having someone on here install it if you don't you can do it yourself.

PM me on what you need done exactly ( what kinda car etc: ) i can arrange to have it towed and i can do the work for abotu 1/2 what they are wanting to charge, if not less

yea dude, an intake manifold swap takes like 3 sockets, 2 wrenches, a jug for coolant, a needlenose for a fuse and some hose clamps, a friend with small hands, and like an hour.

i think this pretty much sums it up:

Unless your intake manifold broke off and was completely hanging and you were stuck....be patient and schedule an appt. to get it done at LHT. Or HelmsInc.com | Helms Inc | Senator Helms | Senator No | Gregory Helms and DIY.

actually, that pic i posted is all the Helms says about intake manifold removal/replacement. i know this, because that is from the Helms for a '95 DC2.

if the thread starter wants the pic for his motor, i can get it too. theyre all pretty much the same, but i have the EK, EG, and DC manuals, so just lmk.

i no how to do it and how easy it is but i just dont have the time and i need it done asap thats y i cant make an appointment and wait
