Default What thrust bearings to use with LS rods on a d16a6 crank?

Trying to put this motor back together. Have LS rods, d16a6 pistons, and the d16a6 crank. Wondering what rod bearings to use...Im guessing the LS bearings?

you want rod bearings or thrust bearings?

use the thrust bearings that match the block.

use the rod bearings that match the rods.

I thought the thrust bearings were the rod bearings, Im talking about the bearings that go between the crank and the rods, thebearings that get spun. I always refered to them as thrust bearings.

the bearings that go between the rods/crank are the rod bearings.

the bearings between the crank/mains are crank bearings.

the two half circle bearings that keep the crank from moving along its rotational axis are the thrust bearings.

Ok thats what I thought. I feel like an idiot asking again, the bearings between the rod and the crank are the half circles, thats why I was calling them thrust bearings. Those are the ones I need. So like you said, with the ls rods on the d16 crank get ls rod bearings.
