Hi im buying a 1996 honda accord lx automatic i just wanna know if they are good cars or should i pass on it

 

they can be ok cars....

 

spend the money on a ef w/ a ls or gsr in it.. imho but they are ok slow unless you drop a h22 into it...

 

Yes they are good cars. The V6 auto trannies have issues so id stay away from them. They are pretty much like any other Honda.Solid and reliable. Just remember to change all your fluids every 2 years/30k miles and youll have years of service!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Hondas...even if it is automatic...

are you going to tell us or just be a troll like most people on here. But if i drove around in a 91 prelude all day I would say the same thing. To be honest any car can be reliable, some just need more attention then others and depending on weather the previous owner if a used car was maintenced properly and taken care of.

 

make sure you change the trans fluid reguarly and only use honda ATF in it.
