I looked at the pics in his garage thread.....I don't think they did any of the work on that head other than install some cams. I could be wrong, but reading their description, it sounds like things were pretty much ready to be bolted together.

I am curious though....what type of measure devices does this shop have?

Not trying to bash coco, just speaking from experience... Ive heard some bad stories, and seen some of the not so good work, and actually had to fix a couple of the cars he jacked up.. i know nobody is perfect, everyone makes mistakes, and every engine builder has some that dont survive the way theyd hope for, but for something like this, i would definitely want somebody with an outstanding rep, and a proven track record... IE Neal, Collin, Steve, etc... Someone with some KSeries knowledge and experience...

I understand where your coming from but i have seen different.I think if he was a bad mechanic he wouldnt be working at a toyota dealer right now.Hell i built my own motor awhile back but i guess if your dumping alot of money in the bottem end you want someone more known locally.I'll tell you this his ek hatch will be a serious contender when it comes out...

Good luck on your build. Let em know if you need anything welded when you get to that phase.

Not sure if John read your post but John@LHT was talking to ERL people for a long period while he was at SEMA.

ERL had a booth with Jeremy Lofsky (spelling, f-off) K-motor on display.

If that gives you an idea.

+1

Consider I'm always at the track every other week (Bradenton, not the pussy 1/8 in St.Pete), fastest RSX I've seen was a all-motor RSX from SRQ(high 13s).
