Yo, I would like to know where could I get my z6 head shaved down. I live in lakeland and dont know many shops around that shave heads. But if anyone has any info on where I could take my head to be shaved down cause I'm soon going to rebuild the bottom end high compress pistons as well. So let me know where is a good place to get head shaved and do a really good job as well.

you could try 3D in ybor i hear more good things than bad from them. also i would buy turbo pistons and boost the d-series because for the money you are gonna spend trying to make a fast high compression sohc you could just buy a b-series that would probably be just a hair slower than a built high compression sohc but if you boost it and tune it you can easily be in the 13's beating b-series n stuff all day.

the cheap way to get strong rods fro d16 is to use ls rods with a bushed top end to fit the d-wrist pin.....iv seen them hold 300 hp in a d16 b4

True, so I'll look more into boosting my d series and seeing what would be the best build up. Cause what I am looking for is more of a shop to do my work. Cause I am not going to b takeing my car to shit hole for my motor to be built right. Cause I'm going to be doing this in the next month or two to have it done right and to hold the right amount boost with no problem. Do you have the number to that place you recommend me to.
