Default performance header on d16z6

Yo, TR I need a little help on putting on this header. I bought a weaponr header and it didn't bring any gaskets with it. So I bought the gasket to hook it up to the head and it fit like a charm but know it is leaking from the bottom where it connects to the stock pipe and I need a flange to hook it up right. What flange do I need to get so that it wouldn't leak anymore. It doesn't sound to bad but it gets on nerves. So help me out so I could get this shit right. I went to advance and bought on the one that they reccomend but it was too small and wouldn't fit the header so what flange do I get for it to fit right.

the donut gasket from your OEM header should fit the aftermarket one, provided you got the right one.

if it doesnt, measure the O.D. on the flange on the new header, and ask the nice folks at autozone or whatever to look through their stack of donut gaskets till you find a gasket with an I.D. that is the same (or just a hair bigger) than the O.D. you need.

i had to do the same thing for mine, ended up with an '86 GM 283 donut i think....

Did you use the stock one that came off the header.
