One idea is to not do 100+ on the streets but yea a good bodykit will deff make a difference along with the hood. I've always wondered too if diffusers really help any. Something I'm going to have to check into.

wow.... rarely does any body kit company actually pay the money to flow test any of thier stuff. so in this sense you better have deep pockets for a good kit that is flow tested. other than that i would recommend maybe a lip for more drag which inturn may slow you down a little bit but help to smooth the turbulent air flow with a good supported bumper. and the hood thing would be good too.

i always thought they were in the front, and therefore, those "hood" vents are not for downfore, but rather for hot air leaving the radiator. it actually uses the venturi effect to draw the hot air out of that vent and pull it up over the car and away from the radiator.
the little bump before the vent helps very little as well and directs the flow of the air upwards which creates a vacuum like flow for the hot air. so like skunk2racing97 and the 2nrwerks guy said the hood may help a lil too but g/l! and i am no pro at aerodynamics but this would be my theories on the subject.

There are times where you need to do 110+ (like on the highway entrance ramp). You guys know what I talking about.. it seem like everyone enters the highway and immediately switches to the fast lane doing 100+.

As for downforce, I think everyone has mention that you need to do. I know what you mean tho. When I'm on the slow lane going 70 and a semi truck goes by the car feels loose. I think some of it is just the light weightness of your car.
