The stock oxygen sensor is a narrowband.
I do not recommend building any kind of load on your motor without having it tuned.

Check out an article I wrote that describes everything phearable.net

I would recommend a 255lph pump just to be safe. The last thing you want to do is max out your fuel pump.

Your options:
1. Install the turbo kit using stock injectors, retard your distributor a few deg (rotate it towards your headlight) and drive to your tuner without building positive manifold pressure. Once you get to your tuner you would then pay him to install your injectors/resistor box.

2. Get a basemap program for your ecu from your tuner. Install the turbo kit using your injectors/resistor box & drive to the tuner on the basemap without hitting major load.

3. Tow the car to your tuner.

4. Pay your tuner to come to your car.

Actually the hx and vx's are wide band. Most wide band controller run bosch sensors so the NTK (I think that is the brand) won't work. If you had an NTK based controller the hx/vx sensor will work.

KJ,

I was not aware that the hx & vx vehicles came with an NTK sensor.
To my knowledge NTK sensors are not being sold at a reasonable price anymore.

They always were too pricey. We actually tried running one on Glenn's dyno but couldn't get it to work right (had it laying around). They cost over $200 at the dealer. I still think I may have one in my toolbox.
