Default aftermarket electric fan for eg? suggestions

im picking up a fluidyne radiator for my eg this week. i want to get some sort of aftermarket fan. first off, i think i remember reading i need a slimline fan for the fluidyne radiators, true? the fan ive been looking at is the flex-a-lite fan since its the only one ive seen that using the factory wiring and mounts to factory radiator without drilling holes. so i assume it will mount to the fluidyne? but it costs 185 bucks which is a pretty penny for a fan. anybody have any suggestions? anybody know of another fan that uses the factory plugs and mounts? any help would be appreciated.

and do i need a pusher or a puller? and if i get a fan that dosent use the factory plugs dont i have to get either a fan switch or another themostat controller?

oh, and anybody had any expierence with the obx silicone radiator hoses? they are the cheapest silicone hoses i have found and im planning on buying some. just wondered if anybody ever used them?

i got one of this guys 12" fans for my fluidyne and it works great. you have to cut your plug from your old fan and wire it in, but its easy. fast shipping too.

Honda-Tech.com: Slim Fan SALE, Lowest Price On Honda-tech. 10" and 12" fans available now!!

good deal. im gonna check it out. seems like the more logical choice. it wires into the factory thermostat and everything right? no need for a fan controller?

that is correct, sir. just cut your plug off of the stock fan and connect the wires.
it was a great deal. it works like a champ and flows a ton of air.

sweet. im defenitly getting one. no i just cant decide if i want to go with the single 12" or double up on the 10"'s. it would defeintly be overkill for what im running right now but if i every get to the point i want it would be nice. thanks again for the suggestion.
