Default Turbo Lags when boost is engaged

Hi fellow TR, I have a 94 accord with an F22B1 with a T3/T04e turbo running at 8 psi's. Well last saturday I decided to run it at the races and i misshifted so it redlined like crazy. The next run I ran, the turbo was lagging when boost was engaged so i popped the hood and found out that the hose running from the external wastegate to the intake piping next to the intake manifold had popped off. I connected the hose back and it was still lagging. I decrease the boost to 4 psi's and it's running fine but anything above 4 psi, it will lag. Also my A/F ratio is jumping from lean to stoich constantly. It never did that before. Could my A/F ratio use some tuning? What can i do? Please help. Thanks

There could be multiple things wrong with the vehicle.
1. Your a/f ratio guage you are using is a narrowband oxygen sensor which does not tell you any useful information.
2. You could have a boost leak.
3. You could have damaged your motor.
4. Anything else is possible.
