Yeah, but his civic doesn't have a motor in it and he bought the y8 for it. What has to be done to get the y8 to run good in the 95 civic. I'm kind of new with this model civic I'm use to working on obd0 hondas. I just need some info on injector hook up and another thing doesnt the y8 come with a knock sensor on it and the z6 doesn't. If someone could break it down in what needs to be done to get it running the right way. Thanks

So he couldn't use 95 civic harness he would need to use the y8 harness. The p28 ecu would be looking for the knock sensor so would that matter any way or does it need to be hooked up.

This is false information.

You MUST use the 95 civic harness.
You must convert any of the harness plugs which need to be converted from obd1 to obd2 so that they plug into the obd2 components such as the dizzy/alt. The obd1 injectors & clips can be retained from the obd1 swap currently in the car.
