Default TB question?!

im taking it bigger is better in the situation of a throttle body since it partakes in getting airflow into the mani. ex - 62mm vs 70 mm... 70 mm would be better?

also, i know expensive name brand tbs run in the mid 200s to late 300s, but are the holley ones decent? holley is such a well rep'd name, i just dont understand why i see some of their parts being sold for so cheap... recommendations for TBs? i don't want garbage... LMK.

thanks guys.

there was a thread like this just the other day. i'll try to find it in a sec. most ppl recommended that you just bore out the oem TB for an N/A set up. they also mentioned that it's rather pointless to buy a TB that's bigger than the inlet on ur I.M.

here u go: https://www.tamparacing.com/forums/h...light=max+bore

there's also a link within that link. here's another thread on the subject:
