Default Cleaning Injectors/Rail & Hot-Tanking

I heard on here just some some hot water and soap to clean out your fuel injectors/rails. Opinions? Would it be unwise to do so? Don't worry i would make sure all the water would be gone before reinstalling on my motor.

Also, I'm doing work on my buddys motor and pulled his pistons and rods on sunday and found some nasty pistons. I was wondering where I could take them to be hot-tanked around the clearwater area for a good price.

Thanks, Joe

I would think i would need to use something that would penetrate the gunk and build-up, If the gas would do so, then injectors would never get dirty.

Used Honda top engine cleaner #08732-9008 to soak garnish buildup for pistons, Vtec rails, etc.

Injectors, I would suggest sending them out to a specialist like R.C. or Precision.

I don't trust any of these local "clyinder" shop around this area.

Have seen and work on some f*up shit before.
