Shit, I was driving down the causeway today and I had my a/c on. It was working completely fine, and all of a sudden I feel just engine heat, I didn't think much of it at the time I just turned the ac off and rolled the windows down. I get into my car about 5 hours later and it's making almost a blowing sort of sound. I open my hood and when I turn my ac on it blows into the engine bay as well. I've never noticed if it blew in the engine bay or not. All I know is that my ac doesn't work. Anyone have a clue to what could of happened? Also, ever since I bought it from Palm Harbor Honda the AC has been lousy. At night it's awesome, during the day it's not to good, now it just doesn't work. WTF.

How do I do that? ttt. The condesor belt or whatever is fine. I'm seriously retarded with ac work. I have absolutely no idea on it.

 

Lack of pressure will cut off an under-hood switch and prevent the compressor from kicking in. Does the compressor kick in when the interior a/c switch is manually cut on?

Coolant may have been slowly leaking out.....pressure drops......a/c won't
let you hurt it, with no coolant, so it cuts itself off.

You can get some florescent dye and special goggles for leak detection
of the hoses or connections. Sometimes an o-ring needs replacing instead of the complete hose.-Bob
