Default Is 70mm T/B Too big?

Well I saw a 70mm T/B that i wanted for my LS/VTEC. It looks nice and fits my budget, but was told you don't want a big T/B. Here's the T/B. Just wanted to make sure before i get it.

depends on the setup
u really wouldnt need a bigger throttlebody unless you have ample enough upgrades that require more air intake.... like a turbo setup...etc

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

also... buying a 70mm tb would be useless unless the intake manifold hole was bored to 70mm... if its a stock intake mani and a 70mm tb it wouldnt do anything because it still has to go through the smaller hole to the intake manifold

well, my personal opinion is turbo setup 70mm with edelbrok intake manifold, all motor 68mm with skunk2 intake manifold plus a upgrade injector, not that big 280cc or 300cc will be good. remember more air go in, more fuel you will need... that is my opinion...
