CRX + B16 + Which header?

Default CRX + B16 + Which header?

I need to find a good header that will have the best clearance in my CRX.
Engine is a B16A and I was looking at the DC Sports AHC6003 4-2-1 ceramic 2 pc header for 90-91 Integra.

Anyone have any experiences on which header has the best fitment with a B16 CRX?

I had a buddy with an JDM b16 swapped EF. Using a 4-2-1 DC sports header for the b16, it just barely cleared the crossmember. Hope that helps?

you can always use a saw and cut a notch out if you have clearance issues. You won't really hurt too much and you can clean it up, sand it smooth and repaint, of course.

get the comptech header for a type R. doing so will give you the clearance if you do decide to ls\v-tec in the future. plus its a great header.

You'll mainly run into clearence issues on a 4-1 header in a crx with a stock crossmember, now you can always notch the crossmember, but you'd be best to runs a nice 4-2-1 header. -Ben

Thanks guys. I didn't want to mangle my car up too much. It is already killing me to have to hammer in the frame for alternator clearance. I will let you know how it fits. Going with a 4-2-1

Thanks, I think I'm going to stay with the B16 - no LS/VTEC. With my car being so light, torque is not a good thing. Th B16 is the perfect motor for boost in the CRX. Running 11's with 300 or so whp in a daily driver is where I want to be.

ok kewl. just was saying so if that is where you was going in the future you would not have to buy another header.
