Default ecu change with manual swap?

If I was to change my auto to a manual from say a gsr or a civic si trans wouldn't I need the ecu from the manual ls or manual gsr?also would a civic si trans bolt up right to an ls (b18b1) block?

Yes a 99-00 Si Transmission will work on a B18b Block.....No you would not have to change Ecu's for it to work but I would recommend that you get a Manual Ecu or get the one you have Chipped.....Phearable.net can help you out

Getting your auto Ecu chipped to manual is what I am referring to. A good 99-00 Si transmission will run you anywhere from 500-700.

An auto ecu will throw a code 19 on a manual vehicle.
It will also idle awkward & etc..
