odb1 or odb2 convertion

Default odb1 or odb2 convertion

i got a 97 hatchback i want to do a gsr turbo what would be less of a headache buying an odb1 motor and changing it to a two or buy a two? i know they dont make tunes for the two. what will i have to do to change a one to a two?

buy a obd2 motor and convert your 97 hatch to obd1.g/l

I would recommend buying an obd2 swap so you don't have to hackup an obd2 harness to run obd1 components.

Buy a obd2 gsr swap.

Buy an aftermarket intake manifold such as the Eddlebrock for a turbo app.

Buy the proper rear L bracket needed along with the proper top drivers side mount bracket & a/c bracket.

Buy the proper throttle cable.

Buy a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and chipped obd1 ecu.

Convert your IACV wiring from 3 wire to 2 wire (phearable.net)
