anyone done this,seen it done,have any info on how to do it?

i have a mint 83 accord,1.8L 3barrel carbed auto.haven problems with the carb and finding a replacement,but i have a full 96 GSR swap laying around and have been thinking about swaping it in.i know mounts will have to be found and welded,will have to modify the exaust system(83 has the intake and exaust on the same side on the head,close to the firewall).just checkin to see if anyone has any info on what it will take to make this happen.thanks

 

yes, you will need to re-do most of your exhaust, or re-do the whole thing... as for the mounts, i dont believe they make that year swap, you may need to custom make your own. but that would be a pretty cool swap though, good luck!

 

yea been looking at it since i sold my B16 hatch,the 83 mounts are weird,but i think i can make it work,just hopping someone has done it or seen it somewhere,maybe a link?
