i dont know enough about honda's to pin point whats causing the tail lights to stay on...i pulled the tail fuse and they still stayed on..so i have just un-plugged them for now...can anyone tell me what might be causing them to stay on?

there is a short from another power wire to the power wire for the lights. Trying pulling other fuses one at a time to see which fuse turns them off, that will give you someplace to start looing for the culprit.

Then the light would have gone out when he pulled the fuse. assuming he pulled the right fuse. if the right fuse was pulled and the lights were still on then it's getting power from elsewhere.

Its a button that rests against a rubber grommet on the brake pedal..The rubber groment must have fell out..Just replace it with a bolt..Get under the dash and look you will see what I mean.
