I have searched and I havent found anything on this swap..I am trying to install a B16a SIRII automatic into a 92 civic dx and the tranny mount is not lining up and tranny itself seems too wide because its hitting the chassis wall.If anybody has any experiance with this swap please post it up here..And Please dont post about how auto's suck and all that other BS that is commonly posted when a question like this is asked..Thanks in advance..

are you trying to use a manual tranny mount to put this in...

auto and manual tranny mounts should be different

 

Thanks for the reply.The original tranny was automatic so I thought this swap would drop right in..Any ideas??

 

if it was a d-series auto tranny the mounts would be different too

 

On the automatic 94+ Integras the tranny mount and the bracket on the frame rail are different than the 5speed version. That may be something to investigate on your particular car.

 

I had an automatic d-series in it before the swap..I tried using integra mounts but the mounts that came with the motor were the same..
