Default LSD, is it worth it?

so im getting ready to order my new b16 swap and im contemplating getting the lsd for the extra 300. my question is, is it really worth it? im not a hardcore racer i just like having a car that i know is fast but dont really run it too much. lmk what u think

id get it..i mean ur already spending X amount of $$ on the swap whats the extra $300. LSD is deff worth the extra IMO

i wouldnt waste money on a OEM lsd. If your going to do it, save your cash and buy a quaife.


but hell, if it's not a race car i guess it wont hurt

oem is ight but quaife is worth the money from what ive heard

If it's not a drag car I would just go with the OEM. Quaife is built to take more abuse than OEM, but if you're not serious into drag racing I don't see you breaking the OEM so why spend the extra $ on a Quaife? The OEM will improve street drivability just as much.

I have an OBX LSD in my LS transmission. It was well worth the money I paid for it. Although I am turbocharged

I've got one ready to go in my D Series. It's good to hear alot of people having success with it. Who did your install?

Get the factory lsd for $300. You won't regret it.
