Do coilovers really go bad in about a year on a lowered car?

Like I said. 99% of Coilivers are not used for their intended purpose.

well ig to coilovers because i auto X my car alot and i feel way more comfortable and the car handles wya better with coilovers

so i am agreeing with you coilovers are meant for a purpose and that is auto X or different road racing conditions.

The same reason people do ANYTHING to their car,if your car makes you happy...really is there any other reasons needed? Some people auto X their car and coilovers offer custom rates, some people are in it for looks. And if you know tampa, you know what streets to avoid, there is NOTHING on my underside that's been bashed/dragged.It's not always about what you do to your car but learning how to adapt to the changes.

ive heard this from some pretty reputable shop.

i.e. password jdm, jhpusa, jdm universe.

+1 on that, don't buy skunk2, i would suggest omni power or check out the d2 36way fully adjustables at JHPusa.com (rated better than the Tein), i have a set, they cost me a little over $1000 (kit included, the struts, rear sway bar, skunk2 camber kit front and rear) but you can't get a better ride. i have absolutely no body roll
