Question Need Help Broke A Front Wheel Stud Process To Replace It?

NEED HELP BROKE A FRONT WHEEL STUD PROCESS TO REPLACE IT? 95 sol SI I had a loose wheel it wobled and fouled the thread on a stud. I dont have cash to get the manual today. I have been told it is hard to do. Please advise.

you have to press out the hub, hammer the stud out, put the new stud in and press the hub back in

I had a broke stud and didn't want to go through the process of doing it and didn't want to goto a shop cuz it's kinda expensive, I ended up buy the knuckle for the side I needed, used of course with the hub for like $30, swapped out the knuckle and I am good to go now. Just an option.

IMO You don't need a press, I have done it without one many times.

when i did mine i just a stell dril bit and made a grove so i could slid the new lugs in easier other people just cut the stud on the head so it slids in.

easy does it

that only works with smaller hubs : Ie ef's etc.

try doing it with a gsr hub or a EX hub. it isnt happening w/o some SERIOUS grinding and is not possible w/ a gsr/ls hub.
