I bought two LS heads and were told that they were B1 heads.
One has a casting number of PR4-1 and the other is PR4-5.
Is there any difference in these heads? What are the differences? Which head would be better?

i believe they are all the same besides being different years. i dont think they cahnged anythin on the head itself from 90-.....

 

not positive but im told the b18a heads and b18b are slightly different with the b18b bein a little better..other then that i think they are the same..i think the b18b gets better air flow or something..not 100% sure though

 

PR4-1 is the 95 LS head and PR4-5 is the 2000 LS Head seeing that PR4's are B18B1 heads and the -1 and -5 is signifying that -1 was the PR4's first year which was 95 and -5 is 5years after the 95 which is the LS PR4-5 Head.
