Default 00 si ecu fuse blowout

i have a turbo charged 2000 civic si that keeps blowing the ECU fuse, it blew up the 15amp that was in there so i had a spare 20amp in my fuse panel, i put it in and it immediately blows the fuse as soon as i start to crank the motor over, has this happened to anyone before and does anyone know how to fix it? the car has been turbo'd for over 3 years now and never had this problem before on the same setup, nothing has been changed on the car recently except its normal maintaince work. all help is appreciated.

thanxs

I would check for any bad grounds or any wires that may be grounding out. I had this same problem on a 91 integra and it was from a bad main relay.

Intermittent problems is why I would wire in a circuit breaker instead of a fuse.
That way when it "blows" you can reset it, and still get home.-Bob

Where is the ECU fuse located on your particular car?

Guessing that it is the 2000 SI he is talking about, I think it is on the passenger side of the car in the under the hood fuse box. I am not sure what kind of fuse is put in there stock (15 or 20) but if your car says it needs a 15, dont put a 20 in there.

First things First, We need to back step and find out the last few installs you've done on the car..............

What was the last electrical Mod you did to the vehicle? ---
Do you or have you had any electrical component issues lately?---
Are you running OBD-1 now?---
What ECU?---
Where did you get the ECU, Conversion Harness, installed or tuned?---
Are you running any type of aftermarket Air/fuel or Engine managment systems?---
Are you running any type of Tachometer or gauging device off of the ECU power source?---
Are you running an aftermarket Stereo/Amps?---
When did this fuse issue start and what was the first symptom?---

Answer these question and we can go down the list from there.

well we did the whole car at once abot 3 years ago, its my wifes car so its stock block/head and stock ecu (p2t) with an afc hack. nothing new has been done to the car in the last 3 years except normal maintaince(oil changes, tranny fuild change, and balster coils going bad, etc..) all the work was done at endless speed and sound 3 years ago, its still obd-2, no gay tachometer only boost and air/fuel guage, and dyno tuned at garage advance 3 years ago by angel.
