i just got jaons old dc teg and was wondering whats the most power an LS B18b1 motor can put out with a jackson racing super charger set at 10 psi and has anyone seen or have any dyno sheets

 

im pretty sure jackson racing on there website has dynos..it shows at 6psi with header catback and aem filter 160 whp and 139 torque..so 10psi maybe 200whp give or take..tuned.

well i wouldnt expect much more then that..maybe 220?..go get it dyno'd and see..

 

yeah thats why they discontinued the ls because there wasnt enough gain made.

 

well i plan of adding a wet kit onto it to add some more power maybe like a 45/50 shot not sure yet but does anyone on hear also own a super charged honda?

 

Go turbo instead.

 

i agree rip that off try to sell it and turbo the ls..i dont think id put a 50 shot on top of the supercharger already runnin 10psi..

 

Have fun...read lots of bad things about the JR supercharges especially at 10psi.

 

If you had an LHT Cooler it would make 200 maybe more with a decent tune ...

There was a guy over on the AEM boards with a Crower 402-T cams , vlavesprings , retainers , 550cc injectors and obviosuly an AEM on his JRSC LS he made like 247WHP ..

That was at 11psi I belive ..

I'm not a big fan of SC's but they can make power . Your best bet is get a nice safe tune on the charger and gthen spray a little shot on top of it . Its going to cool the ingoing charge temps so it will act like an IC and give you more HP . Like a 50 shot will be ATLEAST 50 to the wheels etc ..
