Default Big Brake up grade

So im sawping out the dx calipers to the ex calipers and so far so good, i have the calipers ready to go an extra set of lines, which i dont think i will need, the ex control arms, and calipers. now my main concren is that the dx axel wont fit into the ex control arm. idk about that. also will the ex go into the dx without a hitch anyone do this before? any suggestions

Will not fit axle/control arm in what sense?
What inspired you to do this particular swap?
How did you hear about it?-Bob

the axels should fit directly into the hub. and what do you mean a hitch? you may also consider doing a master cylinder and brake booster upgrade. thats where you will notice the biggest difference.

alright i might be wrong and dont think not to correct me, but im replacing the lower control arm with the ex and the ball join that connects with that feeds the axel to the weel goes through it. i want to know if it will fit. also im just doing this because a big brake kit is alot more compared to the 120 i spent on parts for this

you dont need to replace the lower control arm. the only bolts that should have came off are. The 17mm crown nut under the brake, the upper one, tie rod one, strut fork, axel nut, the calipers. then the whole thing comes out. you pop the new one on, and put the bolts back in. should take 30mins for both sides. also remember to get a alignment when your done.and make sure the cotter pins are put back

i think you mean the knuckle. the lower control arm goes like this ____ the knuckle is like this {. you know what i mean? the knuckle is what conects your caliper, rotor, all that fun stuff. the control arm is on the bottom of that and is attached to the subframe.
