Default oil on my ls

i have a b18b1 and i have oil spilling out on my motor and trans. i wanna know if anyone know why. i just wanna know how many people with ls' s have this problem. i think it might be the head gasket but i've been reading about cam seals and they say its mostly the seal, thats why oil spills out. But i dont really know if its the head gasket b/c it doesn't over heat. i'm taking the head off nxt week but just wanted to see people in put. thanks

We need a little more info man.
1. Where is the oil leaking from?
2. Is it burning oil? (smoking)
3. Does the car seem 'under-the-weather' so to speak?

the oil looks like its coming from the vavle cover and the head but it might just be it spilling out from the valve cover but the vavle gasket fine, and yeah it smokes but not from my exhaust. and it sitill runs strong. i'm just seeing what parts i need so i dont have to keep putting in oil

Spray "gunk" on the motor and see where the leak really is.

A new soft valve cover gasket does wonders.-Bob

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

A cam seal can also make it leak around that area, I wouldnt worry about the head leaking. I read a post by KJ saying that a honda h.g. wont leak oil on the outside unless its completely blown

I have a small oil leak on my Moroso oil pan's oil temperature bung You need to find where the leak is first. Could be the oil pan, valve cover gasket, cam seals, distributor o-ring, etc.
