Torque specs on rod cap

Default Torque specs on rod cap

I need to know the torque specs for a LS's rod and main caps.

rod caps are 30lbs i beleive the mains are 54lbs

Rod nuts - 23lb-ft for b18b1
Main caps - 54lb-ft

Main bearing clearances (1,2,4 and 5) 0.0009-.0017
Journal 3 .0012-.0019

Rod bearing - .0008-.0015

Best way should have been to grab a flat feeler gauge and check the clearance of each bearing to cap clearance and journal to bearing clearnce before removal. Grab a Helms Manual and look up the Torque specs for the motor you have in and if you persay have another sort of connecting rod than your stock ones within your LS, then people won't be able to give you guessing answers although most seem correct. Get alot of opinions basically before going and doing it, because basically if many people say the same things, that specific thing might be correct and then you can start torquing down on the connecting rod cap nuts. Communication of what you have is key also, because it might be different for LS than ITR, well actually it is different torque specs. Good luck
