Default Going from ls to ls/vtec

Ive been searching for awhile and i finally wanna go ls/vtec.

I was wondering if i get a complete gsr head and a golden eagle ls vtec kit, will that be all I need.

has 8:5 compression and kms blockgaurd and eagle rods. full turbo kit

Also how much money is this gonna cost to install. Where would be a good place or person to get to do the ls vtec conversion

please leave me some feedback

thanks alot

to do it right is going to cost some change like higher compression pistons with rings, gaskets, seals, bearings all misc. stuff. i say this if you not going to half ass stuff and do it right the first time. totally re-doing the block an parts "do not mean sleeving" and totally upgrading the head. cams valves valve spring retainers and all that good stuff.

a lot can be had without swapping the pistons. 10:1 compression is easily obtained by just shaving the head or using a thinner headgasket....dont forget the ECU also

yea most pple think that boosting an ls/vtec is just gunna blow it up...which is very tru because the ones with the b16 heads are known to have some pretty high compression...but boosted ls/vtecs if you do them right are just sick

stock ls bottom end with b16a head = 9.5:1
stock ls bottom end with gsr head = 9.7:1

compression ratios are barable for boost
