Default GSR valve train in b16a1????

i have a b16a1 head and i got an awesome deal for a pair of gsr cams, springs and valves, all with only like 30k on them, now i want to drop this in my head and if i did what type of hp gains should i look for and will it increase my acceleration or top speed i know the b16 is a high revving head but is this setup going to do good in my car the head is on a 97 stock gsr block and i am going turbo if that makes a difference maybe it raises compression ratio?? i dunno just lmk what i should look for is it worth swapping those out?? lmk asap guys really need some help and if no one tells me its the wrong thing to do because if no one lets me know by tomoro theyre going into the head lol

the only thing i can see being a problem is the difference in lobe sizes...valve clearence... i dont know if by putting in those cams that they can cause danger... but i hear the gsr cams, valves and springs are better than the b16.
if you got a good deal on those parts, take it... then if those parts dont work out, sell them.

Cams yes no need for the other stuff ..

Unless they are aftermarket , then ok yes .

For boost GSR > B16 Cams

There are no valve clearance issues but this generally is not a worthwhile upgrade. You will not see any difference in performance.

yes, a larger cam is always going to make more hp... You may not gain 973.6whp just by switching from b16 cams to gsr cams, but you will gain some... The biggest gain will come in the tuning.. Once you smooth the vtec crossover and tune the map to match those cams, you will see the benefit... this is true for FI as well as all motor... Cams make a difference if tuned... You cant just throw em in there and expect to feel a difference...
