If price is an issue, go somewere you can buy a few mandrel bent piping(2.5-3") get yourself a few 180deg peices and bring them to a exaust shop. tell them to use the peices and make you an exaust. this way you have the quality of a high dollar exaust without the price tag to ggo withg it. the piping should cost less than $60. you can get it from, Kteller.com or JC Whitney. many other places acrry the stuff, do a search... G/L

BTW the shop sould cost you around 150-225 for the exaust work

you will end up paying for the name, yes most afteramarket exausts are made out of a price shinny metal, but the improvements in power will be the same if its done right. buy a nice canister(only the canister) Apex'i N1 or whatever, have the shop make you a nice 3" all the way back and weld the can of your choice on the end, bam, just saved yourself $200, and I bet that if put on a dyno, the two would make about the same damn numbers. if you are set on shiny metal, get the SS piping from JCW, its a light weight metal, and oh, the regular piping is light as well, its made of aluminized steel.. its your game tho, play it how ever you want.............

Ehh, on the street, cutouts are a bit much, install both a 3" exaust and a cut-out, run the cutout at the track

Look in K-Teller and JC Whitney for all the bends, the exaust shop will supply you with all the straight peices you will need

take a look at the OEM exaust and note all the bends, I would get a few 180deg bends, this will lwet you make more full peice welds in the end.. make sure you get the correct flanges 2-3 if you plan on re-installing a cat or a just in case peice.. G/L
