Hatch prob w/teg HELP Rep in return!!!
My trunk my teg wont open its unlocked and when i try to open it all it does it make a sound, like the motor is trying but its jammed? I dont know what it could be but anyway any suggestions would be appreciated. Rep in return, thanks.

If you can get into the trunk, unhook the rod from the latch and/or

try using the key and turning kinda hard while either lifting or pushing down on the trunk. my 98 teg had the kind of trunk with a latch that u had to push even after unlocking it, kinda like a hood. it stopped working one day and thats how i opened it.

If that doesn't work, Try using the key and pulling up of the lid.
If that doesn't work and you have access to the trunk through the seats.....Try to gently pull the plastic cover away from the body it's clipped to, Like senior honda said...unhook the rod from the latch and/or
push the rod to unlatch the lock.
If that doesn't work.....Take it to Acura and have them work it out.
I had this problem with my '99 Teg and had to take it to the dealer.
They opened it and fixed the problem for under $40 (a clip broke and needed it replaced).
