Default **ecu gurus** another question

I put my P61 (92-93 gsr) in and started the car then smelled the electrical sizzle. Q31 is burnt up. Any ideas what resistor that is for? Question answered!

Another question....

engine light stays on when turned to the on position, huhhh I think ecu is toast. Replace ecu with numberous ecus. Light is still on.

Check cel and its a 1. So, o2 sensor right. Replace o2 sensor and still not working correctly. Car seems to be staying in open loop for some reason. Idles perfect for a little bit then stalls or stalls under any sort of load. I have not checked things with a multi meter yet. Just wondering if anyone else has run into this problem before.

EVAP Purge solenoid ..

Throwing a CEL ? If you are its probally IAT some people mix the 2 plugs up during swaps .. Even if so I wouldnt worry about ti if you get no CEL and the car runs right ...

It will run fne without that it just wont fire the EVAP solenoid . You dont need it anyway

seems as though the culprit to the constant check engine light and CEL 1 was a burnt up IAT sensor.

Damn thing, after hours of backprobing and checking continuity.
