I would say so, it's definetely fuel related. I would have another tuner look it over imho. if your AFR isn't rich (at any point in given time), then you wouldn't have all this carbon buildup on your plugs.

does crome use adaptive strategy? if not the injectors would be at a preset pulse width no matter what right? if this is the case if i had say an abnormal build up in fuel pressure in the rail, the injectors would still pulse the same thus flooding me out.
and i am programed for no o2. still have stock map as well, not sure if its even utilized though.
If that was the case your plugs wouldn't be black. they would be a paper bag brown. If your plugs are black your running tooo rich. as in the 11's and 10's a/f. This is why I think you have a harness or sensor plroblem. It is a intermittent problem.
