Need help with 02 accord weird shifting

Default Need help with 02 accord weird shifting

auto tranny 2.3l vtec..... taking longer then usual to shift... also downshifting when not needed... what do u guys think it needs just fluid change?

whats the mileage since last tranny service? if you do the service yourself, make sure to use honda tranny fluid or add friction modifier to regular dextron.

car is honda certified i bought it at 60k it has like 66 so im not sure when it was last done...... ill prolly take it somewhere to get done messy job

is it throwing any codes? sounds like to me the torque converter is goin bad, i would get it checked out

honda auto trany's suck. i had one in my accord before i converted it to standard, and it slipped like crazy.

yeah, i dont like auto tranny's in any car, you always have to worry about the torque converter acting up, and it is no picnic to change them out, changin a clutch is way more simple

We replace these everyday. Get it checked at your dealer.
