Gains from 100 Wet shot on B16a
Gains from 100 Wet shot on B16a
heres the deal, I wanna know about how much whp a b16a will make on 100 wet shot. car has Itr header, aem intake, greddy catback, and the n.o.s 100 wet shot. If I need to Ill trash the intake, header, and exhaust for a better setup but I dont know of one as I dont even own a honda right now, im just looking to buy a car off here this week. And I never sprayed any of my previous hondas I owned before. Thanks for all your input!

hmm, id like to think so but idk? I know a wet kit makes alot closer to the number than a dry kit but I dunno how the B16 responds to nitrous...

if u have nevered used nitrous. i would suggest something a little less first. then work your way up. 100 shot wet???? may i ask why soo much? well, shots referred to the # of hp gain...give or take ofcourse. so a stock b16 has about 160 hp. 160 + 100 = 260 but ofcourse thats not whp. just giving you a ball-park view of what to expect.

I've sprayed many other cars before just not any B-series or honda engines for that matter. And yes I am sprayong 100 shot but it will be tuned for insurance. But yes I am very famillar with how nitrous works and the pill sizes etc...

If you don't have to retard the timing on the car due to detonation, you should gain around 80whp from the deal. So you're looking in the area of 200-230whp on the bottle. Many factors as Im sure everyone knows, come into play with this, so results vary.
Colder plugs, backed off timing also help fight off detonation - as Im sure you already know. Just find a good tuner who knows what they're doing. The only problem is, with some band-aid or lower costing EMS' you're sacrificing off bottle power for a good tune. If you have something such as Hondata, with nitrous control, or AEM EMS, then it is a non-issue. I don't know what other EMS' have nitrous control on them.

I would say around 85 hp extra.I had a semi built b16 years back and made 154 all motor and 206 with a 75 dry kit.
