new driver help...
invest in a driving school, not like a normal drivers ed but something similar to a police training course. You'll slide the car, learn about traction and how to feel it better, and basically get a better understanding of how a car reacts under extreems. Also go to a motorcycle riders course, it sounds dumb but the principles that they teach about watching ahead and anticipating the other driver, as well as braking and acceleration. between these 2 types of courses you'll learn alot about how to anticipate the dumb fuck drivers which will save you from wrecks, and the lessons on traction and driving will allow you to drive better on the road with a higher degree of safety and confidence. then worry about going fast. Driving fast without knowing how to drive will end up putting someone in the hospital.
should you decide to ignore what I have said above at least keep it on the track. If you want power quick, save your money a little more and get a jackson racing super charger kit. It'll have all you need including the fuel management, you can pick one up for right around $2k new, then have it tuned for $300-$500 more.

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.

yeah, 1500 is a good chunk of change to play with, but it sounds like you don't really know alot about how engines work and what certain upgrades do, maybe you do, but to me it sounds like you dont
if thats the case, look around online and learn more about your car, other than you stick in the key and hit the gas pedal
that car should be pretty fun to drive stock, and with the suspension, with the basic bolt-ons you should have a pretty fun daily with a bit of go, also remember the more you put on there, the greater risk of messing something up, and the more parts that can fail, make sure you know what your doing if you install it, or you take it to a reputable shop, there is alot of info on this forum, but make sure you do your research first, avoid getting flamed dumb questions and you can actually hold a conversation, instead of someone just telling you something and taking their word on it
sorry, that was long, welcome, enjoy your new car, and be safe
