Default more vtec issues....

alright this weekend when i was gettin on i-4 i floored it in third and it clearly got louder at 6500 rpm and felt like it kicked alittle....but it didnt get that much louder you really had to listen for it...i got a b16 head with some buddy club spec III cams...i got the p30 ecu but its throwin a knock sensor code? i was told vtec wont engage when the knock code is on...but its almost like its halfway engaging because it definatly kicks alittle at 6500...but not as hard as other cars ive been in before...really confusing....

well, if the knock sensor code is on there is DAMN good chance your ECU is robbing you of HP due to the ECU retarding timing and adding more fuel, get the knock fixed LMK if I can help

Either fix the knock sensor or get a chippped ECU.You sure the little "bump" at 6500 isnt just your cams?

yea i think it might be the cams because with those in there vtec should kick atleast alittle harder then it seemingly is....i might just go with a different ecu and get that knock sensor code taken off
