Default distributor 95 ex civic

I have a 95 civic ex and the Ignition control module is bad. So I replaced the whole distributor with a reman one. But that one work for about a quarter of a mile and then died. And its the Ignition control module again. I did check all wire for cuts and continuity from the distributor to the end of the engines wire harness basically up to where the front passenger struct is.

I was Wondering if any body has seen this before and maybe what I can do to fix the problem or any other test i can do to find the cause of this failure.

Does it look like its burnt? Its pretty common for you car. I don't know how much they are seperately but I would try to find a used good known distributor or replace the ingnitor. I think continuity through the ingnitor should be between like 400-700ohms. I know I always see used ones on here go for like 50.00 some dollars.

Find out how much the ingnitor is first then go from there.
