Talk about bad luck. Earlier I had a post about radiator tubes. I loosened the bottom clamp on the radiator and bled it out. installed the new upper hose and went to tighten the bottom back up and my screw driver slipped and nicked the damn cheap ass aluminum radiator. so now theres a hole in it. hopefully the radiator shop is open tomorrow. I have the worst luck with cars when I work on them. god damn this shit....

 

Is it made out of aluminum foil???

saw it on mythbuster where thay pluged a rad. hole with a raw egg...i dont know if i would do that but it worked

 

Yeah it was a aluminum radiator, I really didnt hit it that hard. Now im gunna be worried cause what if a rock flys at it while on the interstate, the same thing will happen.....

 

what damage could it do dropping a egg in a hot radatior?? o and thay beat the crap outta that motor

 

I actually did that with a small leak I had over 6 months ago, worked great and still no leak.

Make sure you only put in the white part (the yellow contains too much cholesteral and the radiator will have a heart attack).

Buy another aluminum radiator on ebay for 42 shipped. the radiator connection is the sellers name. I would link you but im too lazy right now.
